The Old Virginia - This is an open-back banjo for the person who dares to be different. These shapes were used to identify fret positions on the old fretless banjos. The neck is made of select curly maple with a back strap of black and curly maple which forms a V on the back of the neck. There is a black/maple/black lamination below the peghead, fingerboard, rim cap and boat-shaped heel. The fingerboard and peghead has a mirror image inlay at the nut, and ornate inlays at the 5th fret and at the bottom of the neck, all intricately engraved. The rim has wood marquetry inside and out just above the black rim cap and has 18 brackets and a "No Knot" tailpiece. Price $2850
