The Jubilo - This beautiful collector's edition model is a banjo which is the
top of our line. It is an open back version of the "Jubilee" bluegrass banjo
on the custom page. The neck is made of one piece of select tigertail maple
which has the traditional black/red/black line laminated under the grained
celluloid bound fingerboard, bound peghead, heel cap and extended back strap,
The inlay in the fingerboard is a vine of pearl with flowers of colored
abalone and is engraved. Matching inlays are also in the peghead, back of
the peghead, heel cap, and on the bound dowel stick inside the rim. The heel
is profusely carved with a vine that matches the inlay pattern and is
highlighted by shading it slightly darker than the maple neck. The rim is
one half inches thick, three and one quarter inches deep, and is made with
tigertail maple inside and out with our patented ebony tone ring. The rim
has red and black marquetry inside and out below the grained celluloid
binding. The tension hoop, tailpiece and inside bolt cover band are
profusely engraved in a pattern matching the fingerboard inlay. It is
available in nickel or gold plating. The tone and volume, as on all our
banjos, cannot be matched. Available with an eleven or twelve inch rim.

The Fandango Grandioso - This open-back banjo is a collector's edition model. The neck is made of select tigertail maple and has an extended back strap down to the forth fret position consisting of a black/red/black lamination. The lamination continues under the fingerboard, peghead and heel cap. The peghead and fingerboard are bound with grained ivoroid binding. The fingerboard, peghead, backstrap and heel cap are all inlaid in mother of pearl and intricately engraved in a classic pattern taken from a Bay State five string banjo (circa 1900) from the James F. Bollman collection. The heel is carved in a style that matches the fingerboard inlay and is stained slightly darker than the neck. The rim is bound with a red/white/ black rope design wood marketry and grained ivoriod binding. The Kershner tailpiece, tension hoop, as well as the inside shoe bolt cover band are profusely engraved and nickel plated in the same style as the fingerboard inlay.
